Please join fellow members of the alumni association, non member friends and the summer camp leadership, as we kickoff planning the 100th Anniversary of Treasure Valley Scout Reservation on February 24, 2024, from 10 AM to noon. Pizza and salad to be provided. We will meet in the farmhouse/Council Service Center.
We will be forming a steering committee to help drive the planning and execution of this exciting yearlong celebration! Although the 100th anniversary of the purchase of the original property is not until February of 2026 it has been our tradition to celebrate the anniversary based upon the anniversary of the summer season, for example, 1975 and 2000 were the 50th and 75th summer seasons and thus the years of the celebrations. This has been a source of confusion over the years as to when we were really founded.
Please RSVP for this event so that I can plan accordingly for space and food. Bring your ideas and start looking through your old photos as we begin to plan our marketing and program.
